PSF Commercial Finance gains ISO 9001 |  |

Chamber members PSF Commercial Finance are delighted to have achieved ISO 9001 certification less than a year after opening their doors for business. The certification is in the name of Public Sector Finance Ltd and covers the main trading divisions, including PSF Commercial Finance - which provides asset finance to business and commerce - and PSF Personnel Finance which focuses on competitive car finance for private individuals. Says Mark Jones, PSF Managing Director "We are particularly pleased with this accreditation and believe that we are the first in our sector to achieve it." Having spent almost 25 years in the asset finance industry, Mark was initially sceptical about ISO, believing that it would limit the flexibility that is central to what PSF provides. He adds "I was at pains to point out to our accreditor that we are led first and foremost by our clients' specific needs and we must have the ability at every stage to step in and influence the course of a deal." In the event, Mark's fears were entirely unfounded as a quality manual was produced which provides a solid central procedure but allows for personal intervention at every level. Ultimately, this will provide swift turnaround for customers with straightforward needs, whilst freeing vital resource to deal with those needs which need personal input. In conclusion Mark says "It is easy to think that because you have experience and knowledge, that you run a business in the best way possible. The ISO accreditation process gave me the opportunity to stand back from the business and, working with our consultants, to really evaluate how we deliver our product. The systems we now have in place can only be a good thing for our clients, introducers, staff and agents." |
